It's a big Saturday in Niagara Falls. The Winter Festival of Lights switches on that same evening, too.
The Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade sets off at 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 14th, 2026, with floats, community groups, costumed characters, marching bands and holiday performers. As always, Santa and Mrs. Claus close out the Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade.
The route
The Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade starts at Armoury Street and Victoria Avenue, heads north on Victoria Avenue, turns right onto Valley Way and carries on along Queen Street to Niagara Falls City Hall, 4310 Queen Street.
After the last float
The celebrating moves to Centennial Square at Niagara Falls City Hall:
- the Niagara Health Foundation Christmas tree lighting
- live family entertainment at no cost
- the holiday lights along Queen Street switching on
- a meet-and-greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus
Bring something to give
Project SHARE collects cash and non-perishable food along the route of the Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade, and Canada Post collects letters to Santa.
In the know
Plan around the road closures on Saturday, November 14th:
- Queen Street, from Victoria Avenue to City Hall: 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Armoury Street, Jepson Street and several side streets: noon to 6:30 p.m.
- Victoria Avenue, from Ryerson Crescent to Huron Street: 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Roads reopen once the last float has passed and the street is cleaned up, so expect detours. The City of Niagara Falls can cancel or postpone the Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade if it needs to, so check the City of Niagara Falls Santa Claus Parade page on the day.
