By Niagara Local · · 1 min read
More than 50 vendors fill Market Square every Friday morning until October 30th. Here's what to know before the season ends.
Fall is the best time of year at a farmers' market, and in Port Colborne there are only a few chances left. The 2026 season of the Port Colborne Farmers' Market runs every Friday from 7 a.m. to noon until October 30th. That leaves four market mornings: October 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th.
What you'll find
More than 50 vendors set up on Market Square, in front of City Hall at 59 Charlotte Street. Expect:
fresh produce from local farms
meats and cheeses
baked goods and prepared foods
flowers
handmade items
It's a certified farmers' market, which means the farmers themselves are there: more than 25 of them come regularly. The Port Colborne Farmers' Market is run by the Downtown Port Colborne BIA.
Make a morning of it
Market Square is right downtown, so it's an easy start to a walk along the canal or a coffee nearby. Bring a reusable bag, arrive early for the best of the harvest, and say hello to the people who grew it.
